Wordrio privacy policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

Overview

Wordrio does not require an account and does not ask for your name or email. App progress, streaks, preferences, reminder time, and app data are stored on your device unless a feature below says otherwise.

Data Wordrio may receive

Wordrio may receive voluntary anonymous feedback, anonymous practice-session diagnostics, and automatic anonymous crash reports. Crash reports can include a random user hash, app version and build, platform, locale, learning and display language, current screen, developer-build flag, ad mode, error type, redacted error message, redacted stack trace, and timestamp.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, Wordrio may receive the item you are commenting on, feedback category, selected correction, optional note, and a random device hash. Feedback is used to improve the app. Do not include names, emails, or other personal details in feedback notes.

Ads and purchases

Wordrio may show ads through Google AdMob unless ads are removed. AdMob can process advertising-related data according to Google policies and your device settings. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by Wordrio. Wordrio receives only the purchase result needed to remove ads or restore access.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Wordrio shows a Google-certified consent message before requesting personalized ads. On iOS, Wordrio also presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. In US states with applicable privacy laws, Wordrio presents the corresponding privacy choices. You can review or change these choices later from the privacy options available in the app's settings.

Notifications

Wordrio stores notification permission state and reminder preferences on your device so it can schedule reminders. Reminder content is generated by the app and does not require an account.

What Wordrio does not collect

Wordrio does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, exact device identifiers, precise location, IP-derived location fields, full local database contents, typed answers, or feedback free-text in crash reports.

Children

Wordrio is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children. Ad requests are configured as not child-directed and limited to a teen-appropriate maximum content rating.

Retention and control

Local progress can be removed by deleting the app. Anonymous diagnostics and feedback may be kept as long as needed to debug issues, improve quality, and understand app reliability.
